The books that I would consider essential for running Ravenloft in 3.X: ![]() Q: "Why is the world a flat disk surrounded at the edges by an infinite sea of fog?" ![]() Ravenloft as a campaign setting is excellent, especially once you get up to the 3.X era, where the baseline assumption is no longer "adventurers from the core worlds undergoing a weekend in hell", but where the majority of Ravenloft PCs are assumed to be natives to the setting, with no idea of why outsiders think their world is strange. ![]()
